Condo was cute and spacious. However, A/C is broken the room never cooled off under 75 degrees. Host was aware of an issue with AC prior to check in and didn’t not disclose. There was a sign above thermostat that said do not set temp below 72 or A/C would freeze up. It was freezing up even set at 74. We had to keep turning it completely off for a couple hours at a time to let it unfreeze. And when I wrote host about the issue I was told management would be notified. Never heard back and no one came to even look at it.

Shortly after arriving, we began noticing roaches throughout the property. We observed them on the countertops, furniture, and walls in multiple areas of the unit. We have photos documenting what we experienced during our stay. The cleanliness of the property was not up to acceptable standards. Based on the condition of the unit and the pest activity we encountered, it was clear that cleaning and pest control measures were inadequate. The situation became so concerning that we had to make an unexpected trip to Walmart to purchase our own bug spray and cleaning supplies just to feel somewhat comfortable in the space.
Communication from the host was also very poor. When we reached out regarding our concerns, responses were slow and lacked urgency. We did not feel that our complaints were taken seriously, nor were meaningful solutions offered. Because of the ongoing roach infestation, cleanliness issues, and lack of support from the host, we ultimately decided to check out early.

Although the proximity to the beach, convenience of the location, and facility amenities were great, our stay was tainted by the lack of responsiveness to coming to fix the air on our unit. They did respond and apologize saying they would have someone come out to help, but no one came. We slept two nights with our 5 daughters in a unit with no a/c and had to leave the sliding doors open to get cool air. We were exceptionally hot when I cooked. The WiFi was not connected to the tv one bedroom and would not connect to their iPads. I would love to visit here for spring break again and hopefully this was just an off incident for them.
