Enjoyed being close to skiing and Tahoe Donnor and North Star. House is good for kids with puzzles and games and toys.

Absolutely lovely home. Large, comfy rooms, great livingroom and kitchen. No A/C unfortunately, and we visited in JULY. I think that was the only bad thing, rooms got super stuffy and hot, could not sleep at all. Then my kids were playing badminton right outside in the backyard only a couple feet from the residence, when a golfer started yelling at them to go inside. They weren't even playing golf in that area, the golfer was just passing through. Rude. For cleanliness, it was pretty clean, with the exception of one throw pillow. When we arrived at the cabin, everyone was looking to see what room they'd be staying in when I went to sit on one of the chair discussing our itinerary, I grabbed the throw pillow to find it to be dirty, it also had a redbrown spot resembling blood. Excluding the sleep deprivation(it wasn't that bad) and the dirty throw pillow, the home was lovely, we had a good time, it felt very much like home away from home.
