Beautifully located on the sun-splashed beach in the center of Gulf Shores, this condo at The Lighthouse Resort offers a private balcony, gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico, and special at-home touches that include a wet bar and a private washer/dryer. Within the resort, you can lounge on 635 feet of private beach, swim in two zero-entry outdoor pools and a heated indoor pool, work out in the gym, and unwind at day's end in two private hot tubs and a sauna.

This Gulf-front resort sits just over half a mile east of Highway 59, which is home to Waterville USA, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Tiki's Mini Golf, Pirate's Island Adventure Golf, and a wealth of other family attractions. Gulf State Park, with its lovely nature paths and fishing pier, is half a mile east, and the Craft Farms Golf Club is five miles north. You'll be an easy walk from Sea-N-Suds, The Hangout Gulf Shores, and a variety of other shops, restaurants, and nightlife, and a quick drive from Big Wave Dave's, The Flying Harpoon 2, and The Flora-Bama.

Lighthouse is our favorite condo in Gulf Shores. We love knowing it will always be clean and furnished well. We love the huge balconies and the zero entry pool. Having covered parking is great. We stayed on second floor this visit and parked practically in front of our door. We like only having a short walk to the beach, also.

Overall the condo was great. Spacious, close to stores and restaurants. Beautiful view of the Gulf and beach. Parking passes are steep! $50 per car was more than I expected. We had an issue with the tv in the master bedroom and guest bedroom not working. We were told to contact an outside company for that. Which we didn’t end up doing because it was too much of hassle. There’s only 1 sofa, so if you plan to watch a movie as a family, there isn’t enough seating. And if you plan to cook with a large family, the pans available don’t really accommodate that. We had to improvise a lot. Overall we enjoyed our stay with a few hiccups.

This place was perfect for a big family to stay in! Right on the beach and close to the pool as well. Super clean and very nice! Definitely recommend for a family stay!

This place was absolutely beautiful! However, if you are a light sleeper like me, it is not for you. Very near the elevator, could hear it totally every time it moved, and poorly sound proofed in general--I barely slept the whole time we were there. The covers on the bed also were torn/aged and needed replacing despite being really cute. Everything else was wonderful, but a whole vacation with almost no sleep is pretty difficult. Hope this saves someone! But if you're a hard sleeper, I would definitely recommend this place!
