While you’re there

Check out some of our favorite parts of Gulf Shores. Sourced from our local teams who live there.

The Southern Grind

From fluffy breakfast plates to killer cold brews and frappes, this is the kind of place that makes mornings worth waking up for—and yes, you can grab their beans to keep the good vibes brewing at home.

Buzzcatz Coffee & Sweets

Made-to-order breakfasts, homemade baked goods, specialty coffees, and indulgent ice cream—the kind of scrumptious neighborhood gem that makes every trip to Orange Beach taste a little sweeter.

Cobalt

With a breathtaking sunset over the bay as your backdrop, expect lavish brunch buffets, fresh local seafood, and sinfully good desserts that'll have you planning your next visit before the check arrives.

The Hangout

Where the highway meets the beach—delicious food, live entertainment, a foam pit, sand pile, games, and Gulf Shores' most iconic beachside atmosphere all under one roof.

Acme Oyster House

Authentic New Orleans seafood meets pure Gulf Coast fun—ice-cold raw oysters, legendary chargrilled favorites, and the epic 'Peace Maker' po'boy. Life really is more fun with seafood.

Flora-Bama Yacht Club

Almost as legendary as the famous bar across the street, the Flora-Bama Yacht Club delivers an unbeatable combo of jaw-dropping food, warm service, stunning waterfront settings, and live music — because on the Gulf Coast, it really doesn't get any better than this!

The Gulf

Stunning shipping container design, elegant rustic cuisine, and a genuinely welcoming staff—the kind of magical seaside destination that feels like a hidden gem even after everyone discovers it.

Cosmo’s Restaurant & Bar

Hand-cut steaks, fresh local seafood, and a Banana Leaf Wrapped Fish so iconic it made the list of "top 100 dishes to eat before you die." This Orange Beach gem is anything but ordinary.

Tropic Falls at OWA

The Gulf Coast's ultimate year-round playground—a jaw-dropping indoor water park with 75-foot slides, a convertible glass roof, outdoor wave pool, surf simulator, and 23 theme park attractions for nonstop family fun.

See what guests are saying

Steps-from-the-sand location and sweeping ocean views from every room and the wraparound balcony draw guests back again and again, who praise the condo’s clean, comfortably furnished interior, practical amenities (washer/dryer, kitchen basics, beach-gear chest) and easy access to nearby shops, pool and family activities. Visitors note the building’s older charm and occasional minor maintenance or supply gaps, but appreciate responsive property management and find the place ideal for short beach stays and family getaways.

Great place to stay on the beach & an affordable cost

Close to everything. Right on the beach. Had a pool, rinse off shower, an elevator. The Apartment/condo itself was very nice. Comfy beds, plenty big enough for the 6 of us. Big wraparound balcony.

Really no complaints. We have a great time.

Avari response:

Thank you, Kayli, for sharing your experience with us. We're thrilled to hear that you and your group enjoyed your stay right on the beach and found the apartment comfortable and spacious. It’s wonderful to know that the amenities, like the pool and wraparound balcony, added to your enjoyment.

We strive to create a welcoming atmosphere where our guests can relax and make lasting memories, and it sounds like we hit the mark for you. If you ever find yourselves back in Gulf Shores, we would love to host you again for another great getaway.

Let's be real, this is a 7 rating property at best, not a 9.8 (rating when we booked)!

View is incredible! Outdoor balcony was very enjoyable. Beds were comfortable and sheets were clean.

This is an aged property that has been renovated. Grout lines are incredibly dirty and stained. There were stains on the furniture and food crumbs on the furniture and the floor when we arrived.

Avari response:

Thank you, John, for sharing your thoughts with us. We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the incredible view and found the outdoor balcony to be a highlight of your stay. Comfort is a priority for us, so we’re glad the beds and clean sheets met your expectations.

We genuinely appreciate your feedback regarding the cleanliness and condition of the property. It’s clear that we fell short in some areas, and we take that seriously. Our goal is to provide a consistently high standard, and we’re committed to addressing the issues you mentioned. We want every guest to feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment they arrive.

Your insights help us improve, and we hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future. We’d love to provide you with a stay that exceeds your expectations.

The location can't be beat! The pictures make the place look much nicer than it actually is. The unit needs to be painted and cleaned really well. It also has been little kitchen gear. Very few utensils bare minimum towels and literally one dish towel. The size was great. Layout of rooms nice. Bring your own trash bags and detergents. Bc you will run out. Also the dishwasher does not work. The rental company suggested I may not know how to work the dishwasher. I assure you that I do and it does not work. Overall nice unit but for the price needs some work for sure! Great location and good parking.

Avari response:

Thank you, Christy, for sharing your thoughts with us. We’re thrilled to hear that you loved the unbeatable location and appreciated the spacious layout of the unit. However, we genuinely regret that the cleanliness and maintenance did not meet your expectations. That’s on us, and we’re committed to addressing these issues.

We understand how important it is to have a well-equipped kitchen and the right supplies during your stay. We’ll be reviewing our inventory to ensure that future guests have everything they need for a comfortable experience. We also want to sincerely apologize for the trouble with the dishwasher. It’s frustrating when things don’t work as they should, and we appreciate your patience.

Your feedback is invaluable as we strive to provide the best possible experience for our guests. We hope you’ll consider staying with us again, as we’re dedicated to making improvements and ensuring a more enjoyable visit next time.
