This one-bedroom condo with a spacious loft is perfect for your next family getaway to Truckee. The well-equipped, full kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm, and the remote-activated gas fireplace is perfect for snuggling around on chilly winter nights while you stream your favorite channels on the Roku-equipped TV. The loft is a great place for the kids to play and includes a desk and chair for laptops for remote schooling. And there are plenty of board games to keep you entertained when you're not skiing or snowboarding. Enjoy access to the Northstar recreation center amenities, which include tennis courts, basketball courts, a fitness center, a sauna, a hot tub, a seasonal lap pool, and an open grill area next to a beautiful creek surrounded by pine, fir, and aspen trees. (Site rentals include the use of three picnic tables and up to two gas BBQ grills with grilling utensils.) There is a $10 daily fee per person for use of the facilities. You will also have access to a complimentary shuttle ride to Northstar Village. THINGS TO KNOW Streaming TV services require guest accounts to access.

This was exactly what my adult son and I needed when visiting Truckee/Tahoe. The condo was comfortable, clean, and looks like the photos. It's a little small, but we were outside the whole week, so that didn't matter. Getting up to and down from the loft was a little scarey. I wouldn't send a young child up the ladder on his own. I'd surely book the condo again.

We loved our stay! The location for skiing is the best feature, but the unit was clean, with plenty of creature comforts. Free laundry is available just a few steps from the front door. The loft requires use of a ladder, so probably not the best for smaller children or older adults, but excellent for older children. Would love to stay again, and are hoping to do so next ski season!
