And for the skiers in the group, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, and Northstar are all within 15 miles of this rental. Things to know: Free WiFi Full kitchen with a dishwasher A 4x4 vehicle is required to access this home in winter The use of Tahoe Donner HOA facilities requires additional daily fees Shared hot tub and pool Dog-friendly for a small fee *Following the Tahoe Donner HOA agreements, gatherings of people not renting the home are not allowed. We loved the wood stove but be sure to bring your own firewood, loved the connected garage and very quiet street/ neighborhood, also the proximity to Tahoe Donner Rec Center/hiking trails

The cabin was really cute and cozy. It had everything we needed for our 3 night stay.

House was in a good location making it easy to get to trails, Donner and downtown Truckee. House had some stains on carpet, scratches on doors but clean enough. Had plenty of dishware, towels and basic supplies

Cabin was clean and worked well for our family. Key pads were a good idea so we didn’t have to deal with any keys.

Downstairs toilet leaked, upstairs restroom had a carpet which smelled, kitchen extraction and main microwave didn’t work, but a working countertop microwave was provided. Vacasa was responsive but didn’t fix anything during our short stay. Overall the price was reasonable and it’s an OK house, so we’d probably go back.
