Close enough to walk to downtown for dinner or sightseeing, this three-bedroom Cascade Locks vacation rental aims to please with lovely Columbia River views, a spacious deck, and comfortable, laid-back retro style. And don't forget your furry family members, this Columbia Gorge getaway is dog-friendly! Located in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, Cascade Locks is right across the river from Stevenson, Washington. From here, a day trip to the charming town of Hood River, Oregon is just 20 miles west and closer, you'll find the historic Bonneville Dam, and boat tours of the Gorge are available on the Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler, leaving from the Marine Park, a five minute drive away. When you're not out exploring this majestic natural area, this Cascade River Watch vacation home offers a spacious retreat for up to six guests. Relax in the living room for some TV and maybe a board game. And with a full kitchen, snacks and popcorn are easy to prepare and accompany your evening's activity. There's a counter bar and a wooden dining table for the nights you plan a home-cooked meal. On sunny afternoons, head out to the river-facing deck for a glass of wine or fire up the grill for a cookout. This is also a serene spot for your morning coffee or a post-dinner glass of port. The three bedrooms have two queen beds and two twins - there's space for adults and kids alike and with two full bathrooms, getting everyone ready to head out in the morning will be hassle-free. In addition, your dogs are welcome, though a nightly fee per dog and minimum fee per stay will apply. Other amenities include a washer and dryer, so you can pack lightly for your Columbia Gorger getaway! This cute as a button Cascade Locks retreat has a cozy, vintage flair and is ideal for family vacations or even friends traveling together. You're close enough to the downtown area to walk to restaurants and shops in Cascade Locks, as well as parks along the river's edge. The easiest way across the river and to Washington state is the scenic Bridge of the Gods, and from here you can visit Beacon Rock State Park or the Pierce National Wildlife Refuge, just nine miles northeast of your vacation rental. Plan a stay at this lovely Columbia Gorge vacation home for an adventurous retreat no matter what time of year you visit! *Please note that this property does not have air conditioning. Thank you!

Bed was comfortable, plentiful linens for any bedroom configuration we may have needed, bathrooms were beautifully updated and the shower had wonderful water pressure. The kitchen view of the Gorge made doing cleanup at the sink a pleasure. We star-gazed on the deck every evening, even laying a blanket on the deck, lying on our backs, and looking up at the night sky. (Bonus: We saw 3 shooting stars and the Milky Way. Can you even imagine!?) The house is well appointed with cute furnishings, but not overcrowded. It was welcoming and comfortable. We hope to stay again in the future. Thank you for giving us a soft place to land :)

We loved the ease in the reservation process, access, and accommodations. And the changing mountain/river/osprey scenery were wonderful! Thank you
