From this centrally-located Welches address right on the Salmon River, you'll have your pick of restaurants, hiking trails, and even ski resorts. Mt. Hood Skibowl, Timberline, and Mt. Hood Meadows are all within 22 miles! And in summer, golf and spa services are a five minute drive away at The Resort at the Mountain.

Laid out on the inside like a grand mountain lodge, you'll love spending time in front of the floor-to-ceiling, wood burning fireplace. There's also a flatscreen TV, cable, WiFi, and a DVD player. And while you're enjoying the living room's ambiance, you'll have a pleasing view out onto the spacious deck.

This large main level also has a country-style kitchen with all the appliances you'll need for delicious vacation meals. After dinner, warm up in the deck's private hot tub, while you keep an eye out for shooting stars.

Very nice and we enjoyed it very much. Setting is gorgeous but close neighbors It was great for what we wanted. The restaurants in the area are not amazing Sorry

Very cute rustic cabin with great decks and waterfront. Lovely great room with the fireplace and comfy couches.Cons- kitchen is very small and only basic cooking items that are of poor quality.If you are elderly with mobility issues or have young children the spiral staircase is difficult.

The cabin is old and beautiful, sitting right on a lovely river and surrounded by huge trees. The neighbors are closer than the photos suggest, which I expected after reading another review, but it didn’t impact our stay at all. The living room and fireplace were cozy, the hot tub was great, and the hosts were very generous with firewood. The bedding and bathrooms were very clean, which is most important to us.
Our main complaints were a messy fireplace, dust and dirt in several areas, and a lack of basic cleaning supplies like sponges or washcloths for dishes. After staying a few days, we realized how much effort it takes to keep dirt out.
We had three issues that required contacting Vacasa or the local representative, and they were very responsive and proactive, which we appreciated. Overall, I don’t feel the cost quite matched the value—we spent a lot and hoped for more. That said, I think this is often the case with vacation rentals unfortunately.
