The wood stove in the living area completes the charming picture. You can prepare a home-cooked meal in the kitchenette, complete with a full-size stove and oven, and enjoy it at the table for two. If you prefer to barbecue, there's a private gas grill available and an outdoor picnic table to dine alfresco. Enjoy nearby neighborhood access to Sandy River, or step out onto the private deck and marvel at the twinkling stars.

The cabin was cute and perfect for our short stay. The neighbors are closer than we anticipated but it still felt quiet and private.

It was a good stay. The surrounding woods were beautiful and my wife and I enjoyed going on walks after breakfast. If we were to go back at some point, I would bring my own pillows. The pillows provided were much too tall for such a soft bed and we woke up with sore backs a couple of nights. Overall fantastic though!

The house itself was charming and comfortable for the 2 of us.
Unfortunately our trip was threatened by a very close wildfire in the area. Avari was absolutely unwilling to work with us on any kind of change to our reservation once we learned how close the fire was and how bad the air quality was. I will never rent a property from them again based on this experience.
Luckily, the winds shifted and the fire and the smoke blew away from the property so we were able to enjoy it after all.
