The wood stove in the living area completes the charming picture. You can prepare a home-cooked meal in the kitchenette, complete with a full-size stove and oven, and enjoy it at the table for two. If you prefer to barbecue, there's a private gas grill available and an outdoor picnic table to dine alfresco. Enjoy nearby neighborhood access to Sandy River, or step out onto the private deck and marvel at the twinkling stars. THINGS TO KNOW Up to two dogs are welcome for a nightly fee but must be leashed when outside. 4x4 vehicle required in winter. Rental periods may not exceed 29 days. We loved our stay at the Chalet Shangri-La! The sweet mid-century A-Frame cabin was so charming. The surrounding area was very peaceful and beautiful. We hope to return soon!
