Clean. Able to walk to soccer complex and able to walk to the beach. (If not carrying any equipment.)

I’ve stayed at the Palms of Destin before and have always enjoyed it, so I want to start by saying the location and resort-style amenities are still a major highlight. The pools, bar area, and overall atmosphere are great.
That said, this particular stay fell short compared to my past experiences. Communication with the management company was frustrating it took about a day and a half just to get clarification on the bed setup. The listing mentioned two single beds, but the photos didn’t reflect that, and it turned out to be a trundle bed. The lower bed especially would likely only be comfortable for small children.
Cleanliness was also a concern, as the linens didn’t feel as fresh as expected. Additionally, the sofa bed and the king bed in the primary bedroom were both quite firm, to the point that I experienced back pain throughout the night and each morning.
Overall, while the property itself is in a perfect location with great amenities this was unfortunately my least favorite stay
