Although there are only two bedrooms, the mirrored walls make it feel spacious and airy. The living room is perfect for lounging or taking a quick power nap on one of the soft blue sofas. Bring your favorite movies to play on the flatscreen TV and DVD player. Don't forget decks of cards and board games to play across the ivory wood coffee table or even at the adjacent glass and wood dining room table for four. Along with the dining table, there are three wood barstools at the kitchen bar for snacks on the go. You could even take your tasty home-cooked meals out to the balcony and take in the salty ocean breeze and spectacular Gulf views. With everything you'll need and more, the kitchen makes meals a snap so you can spend more time actually on vacation. The sea-blue countertops, matching walls, white cabinets, and hand-painted faux windows with an 'ocean view' will almost make you feel like you're swimming in the ocean itself. Along with all the major appliances, this kitchen also has a microwave, coffeemaker, and dishwasher. Gulf Gate is an older 5 story complex in a very good beachfront location. Great if you are hoping the avoid the crowds with most high rise complexes. We have stayed in several of the condos at GulfGate over the years and we love it. This condo needs some TLC and had some minor repairs based on older reviews, but it was a bargain and it does seem like progress is being made. The king master bed is very nice and comfortable, but the queen second BR mattress is hard and uncomfortable, probably good for kids, but not another couple. The condo has a good selection of cookware, plate ware and silverware which was a plus if you like to cook. You will need coffee and basket filters for the Mr. Coffee 12c brewer. There are no other cooking supplies items provided like salt, pepper, etc. the unit has a stackable washer/dryer but dryer is broken. Knowing this, extra towels should be provided as a minimum. Both bathrooms did have toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc.) All in all, this condo is a bargain if you want lots of quality beach time and a place to sleep. Hope the current owner will continue to make improvements, but I assume the rate will go up over time.
