Acari Management somehow switched our reservation to another house miles from the lake, that was too small to accommodate our group. It was also severely outdated from the 1970’s-1990’s appliances and decor. The carpet also had an “old” smell that no amount of airing could diminish. After hours of texting and talking to Airbnb, we received a “partial” refund. Please be cautious with this property management company. I still don’t understand how this could have occurred in this technology-based Airbnb application, but it did and in the process ruined our trip to Tahoe.

Overall a nice place. Clean and comfortable. Great location. Only complaint is that I tried to ask about accessibility for someone in a wheelchair and didn’t get a reply. The bedrooms and bathrooms are on a lower level so it was hard for one guess to navigate going down to use the restroom.
