Suitable for groups, families, and multiple couples, this sunny vacation rental will provide you with all the amenities you want, like a shared pool, hot tub, and sauna, while putting you in close proximity to the conveniences you need.

Vaulted ceilings lend a spaciousness, while the plentiful wood accents throughout give this home a cozy vibe. Add to that the natural light provided by plentiful windows, and you have the perfect environment for comfort, rest, and relaxation. Listen to some tunes on the stereo as you unpack and get situated, and check snow levels and area attractions with the complimentary WiFi. Then settle back on the comfy leather furniture and warm up by the fire in the winter months as you watch a movie on the flatscreen cable TV, complete with a DVD/VCR player.

In the summer, hang out on the balcony, accessible through sliding glass doors and view lush, green surroundings. Gather around the solid wood table in the dining area, accompanied by attractive leather chairs, for socializing and group dinners you prepare in the fully equipped, galley-style kitchen. With white standard appliances, including a dishwasher, you'll have everything you need for easy meal prep and clean up, and the large window over the sink, letting in lots of warm sunshine, will have you humming while you work. With the washer and dryer offered in this home, you'll be able to keep your clothes clean and fresh throughout your stay.

Located in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of Truckee, just under one mile from Northstar California Resort and less than eight miles from historic downtown, you'll be in a prime location to ski or hike to your heart's content and just as easily head to town to stock up on groceries. Northstar offers world-class skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and an ice skating rink in the winter. During the summer, there's a world-class 18-hole golf course with a driving range, mountain biking, and hiking.

Enjoy access to the Northstar recreation center amenities, which include tennis courts, basketball courts, a fitness center, a sauna, a hot tub, a seasonal lap pool, and an open grill area next to a beautiful creek surrounded by pine, fir, and aspen trees. (Site rentals include the use of three picnic tables and up to two gas BBQ grills with grilling utensils.) There is a $10 daily fee per person for use of the facilities.

We had a great time staying 8n Northstar and would gladly stay again. Condo is clean, comfortable and close to Northstar. The condo could use an update, but otherwise it was great.
