Overview

Find yourself perched mere minutes from the slopes and unlimited outdoor adventures Truckee and NorthStar have to offer when you book a stay at Tranquility in Truckee! There will be no delay in finding unlimited ways to use each day with access to the NorthStar facilities for a small fee, unlimited fresh powder in the winter, and the adorable Truckee Downtown close by.

When you simply want to take a breather at home base, hang out with the whole gang in the living room boasting vaulted ceilings, access to the patio, a gas fireplace to cozy up beside, and a flatscreen TV to stream all of your favorite shows with ease. Not to mention, the stunning full kitchen has everything you need and more to prepare tasty recipes or movie snacks. When it is time to hit the hay and recharge, the two main bedrooms are located on the lower level and the loft offers even more sleeping space that the kiddos will love.

Enjoy access to the Northstar recreation center amenities, which include tennis courts, basketball courts, a fitness center, a sauna, a hot tub, a seasonal lap pool, and an open grill area next to a beautiful creek surrounded by pine, fir, and aspen trees. (Site rentals include the use of three picnic tables and up to two gas BBQ grills with grilling utensils.) There is a $10 daily fee per person for use of the facilities, payable directly at the Recreation Center upon entry.

Nice to place to stay and close to the lake!

Very nice place, but WiFi very bad!

Distance to the hike and to the North Star

Great location and plenty of space, but the top floor didn’t have the beds as shown in the photos. My son had to sleep on the couch in the living room.

The mattresses were also very uncomfortable. Every time my husband moved or turned over during the night, the mattress transferred the motion and woke me up, so I couldn’t sleep well.

Great location (close to lift but still surrounded by trees) and very well laid out (great use of space) and generally well appointed condo at a good price. Having the half bath upstairs was great! The WiFi was very inconsistent (definitely don't plan to work from there) and there were no twin beds in the loft - after we inquired about this someone did come by with two boxed inflatable mattresses and sheets, but never set them up - there was no follow-up.
