Super cute 2-bed condo in the heart of Northstar. Very convenient to the slopes, or the Village for restaurants, ice skating etc. I've staying at several other condos in this complex. Some are older. . .but this one has been re-done and it looks great!

The home is truly high-end, with thoughtful touches everywhere—heated floors in the bathrooms, dimmable lighting throughout, and a private patio view of the trees that made it feel so peaceful and secluded. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with top-quality brands and new fixtures (Subzero, All-Clad, Bosch, Grohe—we loved the faucet so much we want one at home!). The owners spared no expense! Everything was thoughtfully designed for comfort, and it was perfect for our group of four. Access to Northstar Village and the rec center was just a short drive away. The only thing that would’ve been nice to have was access to the grill on the patio - but per HOA rules, only owners can use them. Guests can use the ones available at the rec center. Obviously this is outside of the owner/Vacasa’s control. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious Truckee retreat.

We enjoyed the convenient location but did not take advantage of the gym/ recreation center as it is far and 10 extra dollars per person to enter. The cleanliness of the apartment could be better but overall it was a nice place to stay for our family of 5.

The unit is well-stocked to make meals. The living area is comfortable for 4 people. The bedrooms downstairs hear loud foot traffic from those in kitchen and living room. The beds were comfortable. Without traffic, it’s 15 minutes to Donner Lake - about the same to Kings Beach. However, there’s usually traffic on 267 which makes it 30+ minutes. It was too remote from downtown Truckee & Donner for daily fishing or Kings Beach and Carnelian Bay. We would opt for a VRBO closer to our primary recreational activity instead of Northstar.
