Enjoy plentiful sunshine throughout the year both inside and out while you prepare your favorite recipes in the well-equipped, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances including a five-burner gas range. Dine together indoors at the breakfast bar, at the cozy kitchen table, or al fresco out on the deck complete with a gas grill for summertime cookouts. And in the evenings, settle into the inviting living area warmed by a wood-burning stove and stream your favorite shows and movies on the flatscreen TV. Back outside, discover 50-feet of easy access, a private waterfront as well as a dock and buoy for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, and of course boating and trout fishing.Fireplace will be out of service as long as this message is on the listing. There is alternative heat in the home. For your convenience, there is a market directly across the street for essentials as well as Donner Lake Kitchen, one of Truckee's most popular breakfast restaurants. Guests will also find community tennis and basketball courts at West End Beach, a 10-acre recreational park, just a little over two miles west. Can't beat this home located directly on Donner Lake. Our family had so much fun swimming, paddle boarding, fishing and kayaking. Highly recommend this getaway retreat!

This house was exactly what we were looking for when planning our summer vacation. Plenty of room for family activities, clean rooms, and lake front access. We had an amazing time on the dock and watching the sunset from the balcony or kitchen table. We will definitely be back.

We celebrated a special day. Beautiful setting, beautiful home, access to paddle board and kayaks perfect. Well appointed and comfortable. Convenience store very close for forgetten syrup.
