Or take a short drive over to Donner Lake for fishing and hiking throughout the year. Book this home for your next California adventure! Things to know: Full kitchen with a dishwasher Dogs welcome with a small, nightly fee A 4x4 is recommended in winter *Following the Tahoe Donner HOA agreements, gatherings of people not renting the home are not allowed. Authorities will be notified if there is a party or large gathering in the home. *No excessive noise and/or trash *All exterior lights must be turned off between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am, seven days a week

I don’t know if I got a great deal, but the house was amazing for the price! Huge kitchen, tons of seating, and plenty of beds to sleep in. Only downside was the lighting in there was very dim. That made it feel pretty cozy though.

This house was much larger than I had anticipated that it was going to be! It is perfect for a large family or a group of people. It has 3 levels and plenty of beds for everyone. It is a bit outdated, but don't let that stop you here as it very comfortable.. you could literally sleep on the couches.. which I actually fell asleep on one after a long day of snowboarding with the kids because I melted into the comfy couch. I would definitely stay here again. It is in the heart of Truckee, with access to the Tahoe Donner facilities, which our family loves. Not far from Safeway and Grocery Outlet in case you need to run to the store and get supplies. There are plenty of options for food nearby as well. Even though it is a bit outdated, I give it a 5 stars because of the comfort, convenience, location and price! We will be back!
