This house was beautiful, location was central, cleanliness was amazing.

The problem was I asked if the downstairs bathroom was a tub since I had someone in my party with mobility issues where a tub would be a problem for them and they said it was not a tub so it shouldn’t be a problem for my guest. I booked the place specifically because of their response. I get there and all bathrooms are bathtub showers,

I would give this place 5 stars if it weren’t for this one issue but inaccurate messaging in itself is a safety hazard.

What a wonderful place to spend a weekend. Place was roomy and clean. We were there at the start of spring, so none of the patio furniture had been put out, not even the fire pit they mention, which would have been nice. My only reason for not giving five stars all around. However, we did understand that there’s no way you could have it usable year round, just maybe state that in the description. Truly a lovely place and we would stay here again.

The house is as described, spacious for 5-7 people, and in general it is sufficiently maintained. Almost perfect.

Unfortunately, on our arrival we were greeted by mice in the upstairs bedroom. we were putting things down and my son was choosing his bed, when something clearly disturbed them and they scattered into the corridor and the upstairs game area.

We are not particularly scared of mice (rats would have been a different story), but I did immediately write to the property manager via the app. To their credit, they replied within a few minutes saying they would take 'immediate action'. It was 11pm, we had driven 4 hours, and we just wanted to sleep--not deal with someone in the middle of the night. So, I replied that they should tell us in the morning what they planned to do and when they needed access. The next day, nothing. The following day, nothing. We heard no more about it. The mice are still there, so, lock away food and avoid leaving fluffy warm belongings out I suppose.
