While you’re there

Check out some of our favorite parts of Bend. Sourced from our local teams who live there.

Watershed Coffee Roasters

Riverside patio coffee with the best backyard seating in town. Pair a dirty hippie latte with a Sparrow Bakery pastry and you’ve nailed a Bend morning.

Thump Coffee

Local coffee roaster favorite with deeply pulled espresso and flaky croissants. Cozy corner vibe right in the heart of downtown.

The Victorian Café

Legendary breakfast. Eggs Benedict, bloody marys filled to the brim, and a wall of hot sauces to play with. Expect a wait on weekends and enjoy every minute.

McKay Cottage Restaurant

Storybook cottage on the north end of town serving the kind of breakfast people plan vacations around. Outdoor fireside seating with blankets sets the tone.

Jackson’s Corner

Neighborhood anchor with in-house bakery, pizza, fresh salads, and a from-scratch menu that works for any meal and any age.

Farmer’s Deli

Tiny food truck by the river slinging some of the best sandwiches in town. Grab one and eat on the grass a few steps from the Deschutes.

Ariana Restaurant

Tucked-away Craftsman bungalow serving high-end Mediterranean-inspired tasting menus. One of Bend’s most romantic special-occasion spots.

Bos Taurus

High-end chophouse downtown with dry-aged cuts, an open kitchen, and a wagyu tasting experience worth dressing up for.

Deschutes River Float

Rent from Sunriver Resort Marina and float the calm resort stretch. Shuttle included.

We had a great time, unit was as described and very nice. We saw quite a few deer.

Avari response:

It’s wonderful to hear that you had a great time during your stay, Matt! We’re glad the unit met your expectations and that you enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, especially the deer sightings. It’s those little moments in nature that make a trip special. We hope you’ll consider returning to Eagle Crest for another relaxing getaway soon.

Very pretty area of Eagle Crest, and quiet! We did have some neighbors nearby, but barely heard them or saw them through trees. The back yard area was nice & serene, perfect for hanging out on the deck. I read the previous reviews and assumed that Avari had made some improvements in the housekeeping dept. Nope. It was not unusable but the kitchen floor was sticky in some areas, no mop available. Young guest walked barefoot and bottom of feet were black, so I assume the carpet may need a deep clean too. Some of the bed linens were stained. And many surfaces were layered in dust. That was disappointing. I will rethink before booking an Avari Management home again.

What a great vacation place for our two active grandsons ages eight and 10. They had a large improvise soccer field right behind our deck. The beds were comfortable. The place was very clean. Everything you could ask for was provided. I can’t think of a better experience, we plan on returning next year.

Avari response:

We’re so glad to hear that you and your grandsons had such a wonderful time at our property! It sounds like they really enjoyed the soccer field right outside your deck, and we’re thrilled that you found the beds comfortable and the home clean and well-equipped. We strive to provide everything our guests need for a relaxing stay, and it’s heartwarming to know we hit the mark for you. We can’t wait to welcome you back next year for more great memories!
