Great spot tucked right into the trees at Wallowa Lake! The location is the real selling point, it feels private and secluded, but you're still super close to everything in the area.

The house itself is a bit funky, but it has a lot of charm. We did run into a couple of hiccups: the AC wasn't working and the fridge was struggling to keep things cold. That said, Avari Management's communication was fantastic. They were proactive, timely, and quick to respond, and they got both issues addressed the day after I brought it up.

Overall, I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're looking to get away and spend some time in the trees at Wallowa Lake.

Avari response:

We genuinely appreciate your understanding regarding the hiccups with the AC and fridge. That shouldn’t have happened, and we’re glad our team could address those issues promptly. We would love to welcome you back for another stay in this beautiful area. There’s always more to explore, and we’re here to make your next visit just as memorable!

This cabin is a beautiful, quiet, and comfortable retreat nestled in the woods, just about a mile from the lake. It’s also conveniently close to the Wallowa Lake Tramway, which is well worth the money!
The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need to prepare your own meals. Both bedrooms have comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. The living and dining area is spacious, with lots of seating for relaxing or gathering together.
The front porch is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee. Be sure to walk around the north side of the cabin, where you’ll find a nice patio area with a picnic table, propane grill, and even two kayaks with life jackets available for guest use.
This cabin truly offers a great mix of comfort, convenience, and thoughtful touches. We have already decided we will be returning!

If there was a deck off the back of the cabin, my rating would be an A+. The only location on the property to enjoy the outdoors and/or eat outside was on the north side of the cabin which was less than ideal considering the ring outdoor camera located directly above you.. This made being outside very awkward and uncomfortable. Due to this, we spent all our time indoors. If you’re elderly, or have physical limitations, the location was quite the trek to walk to walk down to lodge and back. The hill you have to climb up to the cabin is pretty steep, but other than that, things were nice.

We love the cabin, it was clean and it has a private area as well. I will be going back next year.
