The easiest beach access is about two miles south at Ona Beach State Park, which also has parking, picnic areas, a boat launch on the creek. If you feel like heading into the city, Newport is less than 10 minutes up the road, and Lincoln City is a scenic 35-minute drive north.

This one-bedroom, one-bathroom home is well-suited for two visitors, though it can accommodate up to three as long as one person is willing to sleep on a sofa. The living room is a cozy space, complete with an electric fireplace, TV with cable and DVD player, a shelf of books, and a sliding glass door that allows great views of the sea. There's even a turntable and a selection of records! A retro kitchen may look compact, but it has all the necessities. This home even has a laundry area, which will come in handy after a few days of playing on the beach.

Down the hallway is a full bathroom with an old-fashioned bathtub and shower. The bedroom features a warm and cozy full-size bed and another sliding glass door that leads out to the deck, where you can sit and breathe in the fresh sea air. You're even welcome to bring one dog with you, though please note that a nightly pet fee will apply.
