This peaceful and private home overlooking the Zig Zag River perfectly blends rustic charm and modern amenities. The large outdoor deck, with its private hot tub and private gas grill, offers plenty of space to enjoy evening meals while taking in the amazing river views. Mt. Hood Skibowl is just nine miles away and offers skiing, snowboarding, and other winter sports activities in the winter and summer. Timberline Ski Area is a little over 16 miles away. Enjoy being close to a Mt. Hood Express stop - hitch a ride to Skibowl and Timberline! With its proximity to three rivers, remember to bring your fishing poles. Mt. Hood National Forest, just under 16 miles away, offers hiking, biking, and kayaking opportunities.

The large wood-burning fireplace is ideal for gathering around to relax and warm yourself up after a day on the slopes.

Great family cabin

EVERYTHING! I brought up a family of 8 and we were all comfortable. The house was beautiful. There was enough space for us all to spend time together when we wanted, but time apart when we needed. The beds were comfy. The kitchen was well stocked, as well as the bathrooms. The couch was big enough for all of us. The brown chair.....AMAZING! Everyone enjoyed the hottub day and night. And even though we were surrounded by other cabins, we were tucked away enough it felt secluded. Will definitely be visiting again!

The only thing that was kind of annoying is the hot water. It took along time for the kitchen sink to get hot, and it didn't really seem to get "normal" hot. Oh, and the picture of the river is misleading. It is literally right there, but you can't get to it from the property, at least not where we were able to find.

We enjoyed our stay in this quaint cabin on the river. It was a bit difficult to find and could be marked better. We were glad we were not trying to find this in the dark. We were not given the access code until only an hour before check-in. I suggest writing down your wi-fi password and door code before you get to the cabin as there is no cell service to pull up that information when you pull into the property. Once we got in, the cabin was clean and comfortable. The hot tub overlooking the river was amazing. It was a little dark and could use some better lamps but all in all, we had a lovely visit.

Such a treat! Right on the river, spitting distance to Mt Hood ski bowl and a hot tub to end a day of adventuring. Tons of space and cozy linens. Will be back!

We absolutely loved staying in this house/cabin, it looks like pictured, the river is right under the deck, it’s incredibly beautiful. We planned on using the grill on our first night but it wasn’t working at that time, just a heads up would’ve been helpful, but honestly we liked the place so much it didn’t take away from the fun we had. We would definitely come back!
