This oceanfront condo sits immediately south of Face Rock State Scenic Viewpoint, two miles southwest of shops and eateries in Old Town Bandon. You'll find excellent fishing and crabbing opportunities nearby as well. This area is also a magnet for golfers, with Bandon Crossings Golf Course (five miles south) and Bandon Dunes Golf Resort (eight miles north) within a short drive.

This place has so much potential but needs investment. Pros - the location, easy beach access and views are amazing. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen was outfitted with the equipment we needed to make most meals at home. Cons - the dryer was out of order during our stay and the bathroom vent wasn’t working and probably hadn’t worked for some time based on signs of mildew or mold on the shower ceiling. While we’ve experienced dated rentals, this one was also very worn. As a previous reviewer noted, there’s no air conditioning and you can’t open windows upstairs so there is no airflow and it gets warm. I do think a few investments could easily turn this into a five star stay.

The home was very comfortable and had everything we’d possibly need! With 3 little kids it was so nice to see gates for the stairs! The view was amazing! If I could change one thing it would be to have fans available or a cooling option possible. The upstairs bedrooms were very warm at bedtime. Though we spent most of our time out of the house the times we were there it was quiet and peaceful.

We had a nice stay overall and appreciated the space, especially the second floor, which was clean, comfortable, and had a great view from the sunroom. The home worked well for our family and had plenty of room to relax.

That said, there are a few areas that could use some maintenance and updating, particularly on the first floor. Some of the fixtures and furnishings are showing their age, and a few small repairs would make the stay more comfortable and enjoyable.

Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would consider staying again. Just be aware that the property is a little more worn in some areas than the photos might suggest.

The location and view can’t be beat. The home itself could use updates, especially being a company running the Air bnb, I would have expected more modern fixtures. They didn’t list a BBQ but that would have been nice to have at the house outside overlooking the ocean. Also, the King bedroom has no windows that open. The windows in the room go to the sun room which has no working windows. I’m sure this is not a problem 90% of the time but we had a really hot week so it was sweltering upstairs. The only working windows in the house were in the front rooms. Washer and dryer were great to have in unit as well as be provided with dishwashing pods as well as laundry detergent pods. There were no beach towels so bring your own if you plan on going as well as outdoor chairs/beach chairs. None of that is provided. Kitchen was well stocked but some of the pans could be updated/replaced. Some spices were provided but no salt. And games/puzzles/books provided were a nice surprise.
