Overview

Watch the morning fog move through the evergreen Coast Range at this single-story cabin in Brookings, gorgeously situated with a view of the ocean below. Spend your days exploring the most beautiful stretch of the Oregon Coast and your evenings admiring spectacular sunsets from the hot tub on the deck.

This home enjoys a lovely position just across the Oregon Coast Highway and up the hill from Whaleshead Beach. It's located in the heart of the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor - a place to hike the Oregon Coast Trail, explore secluded beaches, and go for long, scenic drives. Harris Beach State Park, Cape Ferrelo, the Thomas Creek Bridge, Natural Bridges, and Arch Rock State Park are all within seven miles.

One of the best features of this home is the wraparound deck - a fantastic spot for morning coffee, afternoon barbecues, and evening soaks in the hot tub beneath star-filled skies.

The interior enjoys the same scenic setting, thanks to large picture windows framing the ocean and mountains. Cook with ease in the eat-in kitchen, and gather in the living room after dinner to stream movies on the smart TV.

Spectacular view, love the deck and hot tub. Deck could use a bit more cleaning and table in pretty rough shape but still enjoyed it.

The cabin was pretty good - it was tucked up on a hillside so that we really could see the ocean, which was lovely. However it could have been cleaner - I think the housekeeper had done a good job on the regular stuff, but it needed a bit of a deeper cleaning in some spots. Also we were disappointed that the loft wasn't usable (no ladder) because we had seen the ladder in the photos and thought my son would be sleeping in the loft. Overall it was pretty good but it just needs a tiny bit of attention to good upkeep!

Comfortable, clean and quiet. Great location…everything you need for a cozy stay at the beach. Hot tub was fantastic!
