After a day of lounging on the white sand beach below, you can take advantage of the property's shared amenities - including swimming pools, a hot tub & two fitness centers - or curl up in front of one of the two TVs and two DVD players. At night, the master suite offers a king-size bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower/tub. There's a twin-over-twin bunk bed with cozy bedding in the hall, as well as a second full bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower. Pelican Beach Resort is a Gulf-front property on the sparkling shores of Destin, an ideal escape for those looking to swim, surf, sunbathe, take long walks along the beach & test their skills in a wide variety of water sports. You'll also be right in the midst of Destin's most popular attractions, with Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park practically across the road, The Track's go-karts and miniature golf course less than a mile east & the Destin Harbor Boardwalk just over two miles west. Tee off on the Seminole Course or the Choctaw Course at Indian Bayou Golf & Country Club (two miles northeast), find an assortment of eateries and grocery stores within a few minutes' drive (including Target and Winn-Dixie half a mile northwest) & enjoy the natural splendor of Henderson Beach State Park (two miles east). The property was clean and nice. The television did not work. We had four events scheduled for Super Bowl and hockey games and had to cancel them all. Eight calls to the Casa and no one ever showed up to fix it. Very disappointed. They are refunding some of our money. Doesn’t make up for the inconvenience of the plans we had made.

The view was spectacular! The condo could use a little attention. The ice maker barely made ice, had to flush the toilet multiple times to get it to flush. The dishwasher door drops open, and parts of towel rack are missing in the bathroom. The front door closes you in it or slams shut. Make sure to bring quarters to wash laundry for 4.00 (to wash and dry) or you can use the app for 5.00 a load instead. The main heated pool and hot tub close at dusk. While it is keyless entry to condo you do have to go to the front desk during check in for parking pass. The grills are gas not charcoal if that's important to you. Vacasa responded very quickly when we were locked out. The only reason I would not stay here again is there is NO early check even if the condo is ready! However, they will offer you late check out. Overall beautiful beach and comfortable stay just need to touch up a few areas in my opinion.

Wonderful condo with beautiful views from the 10th floor! Condo had everything we needed. The pools were great and the white sand beaches were amazing. We even found a great seafood restaurant we could walk to on the beach. Back porch was a yummy restaurant just a mile down the beach. While the tiki bar and cafe were closed for the season the Pelican Beach resort was a great place to stay. We lucked out with warm weather in November but did have a few cloudy days! The unit was clean and nicely decorated. The bed could have been a little more comfortable being harder than I like. Overall a great stay.
