I had a 5 PM meeting in Pensacola, but because early check-in was refused, we arrived at 9 PM. The property was **pitch black** and incredibly difficult to navigate. We had to haul luggage up a flight of narrow, dark exterior stairs to reach a door with an **unlit keypad**. Entering the **10-digit code** was a nightmare, especially since you have to hit an unspecified button to finish the sequence.
Once inside, the interior stairs on ANOTHER flight of stairs were **horrifyingly filthy** with massive stains—it looked like a crime scene. While the bedrooms were nice with clean linens and comfortable beds, the "delightful getaway" image is misleading.
The next morning, the door inadvertently closed when I went to get something from my truck and I was locked out without my phone where the **10 digit code** was stored. In my effort to get back in, I realized the door is **not secure**. This property is essentially an extended stay motel with extreme inconveniences.
