Overall the condo was as pictured very nice. Location was good. Free beach chairs a huge plus. Communication with the rental company was good. The check-in process once at the condo is awful. Only two working elevators for everyone checking in at 4. Took us over two hours to get everything in our room and that was my teens carrying luggage up 14 flights over stairs. Again the condo itself was nice the elevators are not your friend.

1 star. We booked a two-night stay and arrived late Saturday night. Once inside, we discovered the thermostat/AC was restricted and would not allow us to maintain a comfortable sleeping temperature. It would not go below 69 and kept defaulting back to 72. This was not disclosed in the listing, and both nights were very uncomfortable.

We notified the host Sunday around 5 p.m. The host replied that they were sorry and would check, but no real solution was provided. I later called around 9 p.m. and was told they would try to get someone out. No one ever came, and the issue was never fixed during our stay.

For a short two-night stay, an AC/climate-control issue should be handled immediately. The restriction itself was bad, but the lack of follow-through made it worse. I would not stay here again unless the thermostat restriction is clearly disclosed and urgent maintenance is actually handled.

I took my parents to PCB for a three-night beach getaway, and here are my thoughts:

Pros:
* Very clean unit (smelled freshly cleaned)
* Beautiful gulf view
* The unit looks exactly like photos
* New/recent kitchen appliances
* Books & games were a nice touch during rainy weather

Cons:
* Unexpected $45 registration/parking fee
* Parking is across the street (connected by bridge)
* Listing missing details: luggage carts are on the 2nd floor, plenty of towels and basic kitchenware were provided (no cooking oil or salt & pepper though)

This was my first time booking an Airbnb managed by a rental company rather than an individual host. I have to say, I’ve come to appreciate the thoughtful personal touches individual hosts often provide, such as flavored teas, coffee filters, and other small conveniences.

Overall, the unit itself and the view were absolutely beautiful, but there’s room for improvement when it comes to management.
