The white sand beach of Gulf Shores is yours to enjoy at Ocean Reef 8 801, a multi-level, beachfront condo with wonderful views of the Gulf of Mexico. After a day spent down on the beach (which is accessed via an outdoor staircase from the deck), you can come home to relax in central air conditioning, use the free WiFi to share a few photos, or sit outside on the deck to swap stories of your adventures. Inside, you'll have a full kitchen, ample space to dine at the breakfast bar and the six-person table, and a gulf-front living room with a flatscreen TV for your evening entertainment. Ocean Reef is a beachfront complex with an outdoor swimming pool and a sundeck where you can lounge in the shade of swaying palm trees. In this wonderfully central part of Gulf Shores, you'll be an easy walk from popular restaurants, eateries, bars, and ice cream parlors, and just over a mile west of Gulf State Park. Gulf Shores Parkway - the thoroughfare that's home to Waterville USA and dozens of other activities and attractions - is only half a mile east as well.

The views and location are great. The furniture is comfy and clean. Beds comfortable with clean bedding. Some things are dated but functional (showers, very odd mix of kitchen plates/bowls/cups, mix matched switches and covers, nothing detrimental just made the condo feel a little old.) $30 parking fee for our 3 night stay. The office to pay it is only open 4-9pm and they only take cash. That makes it tricky if you are out for the evenings. They will leave you a tow warning. Not the owners fault, just a crappy HOA situation I’m sure. The lock on the door was really annoying and gave us issues every time we got back. We figured out it seemed to work best with two hands, one to turn the dead bolt and the other to turn the knob at the same time. Maybe it was user error, but it was frustrating. I would have given it 5 stars except for that. All of us struggled with it. Easy walking to food and gift shops. Beach access was amazing and we were blessed with great weather. WiFi was good.

We sat on the deck and watched dolphins. Excellent location for our music festival at the Hangout. The unit is in great condition.

We loved the view and the proximity to the beach. Perfect location to everything! The beds were pretty bad, and a sheet as a blanket was r ideal. But otherwise, we loved it!
