The house features a spacious layout, perfect for relaxing and enjoying meals together. It provides easy access to the beach through a dune crossover, which is a feature that many homes in the area lack. The upstairs master bedroom has a balcony overlooking the ocean with seating. There is also a storage area in the garage equipped with beach chairs, cornhole, and other beach activities. Each bedroom is generously sized and includes its own bathroom, along with an additional half bath on the main level. Additionally, there is a beautiful deck with lounge chairs, ideal for taking in the ocean view. There is a washer & dryer on both levels. There was a cabinet filled with games in the living room. Our only negative experience was our interaction with the property owners of the blue house two doors down. They yelled at us on Christmas Day for walking our dog on the beach, saying dogs are not allowed on the beach. Our teenage son was hitting golf balls on the completely deserted beach (again Christmas Day). They then took videos and photos of our family for the rest of the week. They claim their property extends halfway to the water. Midway through our stay, new guests arrived at the house next door, and the neighbors fussed at their children while also recording them. There are always things that can be better with any house you rent but overall we were very pleased and would stay here again.

This house is great for anyone looking for a house on the beach removed from the congested part of Gulf Shores. The house if definitely dog friendly with tile floors on main and upstairs hallway. Bathrooms were well stocked with clean towels and the upstairs Master balcony is a huge plus! We highly recommend this place!
