Everything you need is right at your fingertips, including a shared pool just off Little Lagoon and a private fishing pier. Beach access is across the street for swimming, fishing, sunbathing, and building sandcastles. When it’s time to explore this vibrant beach town, you’ll be just minutes from the heart of Gulf Shores where you'll find entertainment, shopping, and dining options to suit every taste.

At home, the perfect gathering area awaits on the main level in the open concept kitchen, dining, and living areas. The full, well-equipped kitchen is ideal for cooking meals while keeping up with all the action taking place nearby while loved ones gather at the dining table for games or watch favorite shows on TV. Everyone will enjoy having their own quiet area in which to retreat. Three of the five bedrooms are en suite, and two of the upstairs bedrooms enjoy direct access to the private deck, perfect for quiet morning coffee or a sunset glass of wine. The main-level primary suite is conveniently located just off the living room where it’s near all the activity but offers a private respite only steps away. The best of Gulf Shores awaits - all that's left to do is book.

The cottages are very close to the dock and the ocean. 1956 beach blvd #3 was our rental. We had 13 people and were very comfortable. House was clean, sheets were clean and free of bugs. There were even beach toys and such for the kiddos. The grill is in need of repair, luckily we brought our own flat top to cook on. The furniture is different in the house. The new stuff is comfortable and everyone had a spot to sit. The house has a washer & dryer. Washer is very small. Just do small loads and you will be fine. Dishwasher didn’t want to work the first night. It didn’t want to run on “normal wash”, if you change the settings, it comes on. Very minimal things wrong. Over all 10/10. We would come back to this location. The beach is literally less than 1/4 from your front door. And that includes walking down the long docks! Absolutely beautiful location!

Upon checking in, the code to the door didn’t work. It took a good “minute” to contact someone. We never got them by phone so we had to wait on emails. Once we received the new code, everything was good.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The home was exactly as described—spacious, clean, and in good condition. The bathrooms were very clean with great water pressure, and it was an easy walk to both the beach and the community pool.

One thing to keep in mind: the property is a couple of miles from stores, restaurants, and entertainment. Some people prefer that quiet, others may not.

A few small maintenance items stood out: the washing machine goes off‑balance even with a medium load, the toaster didn’t work, and a few of the patio doors were difficult to open or didn’t fully latch. All easy fixes.

This house was in a great location and had a lot of potential; however, it was in a bad state of repair in several areas that really matter to guests. It was also not thoughtfully stocked with basic essentials like trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher soap, etc.

One of the bathrooms upstairs had a sliding door that was completely off the tracks on one side, and not only was it extremely difficult to close, it would not stay closed, and the latch/lock was broken, so it wasn't private.

Two of the bedrooms upstairs had access to the balcony; however, the access doors would not lock properly, and one of them would not lock at all, creating privacy issues.

We contacted Avari to let them know this was not acceptable, and while they responded generically to our messages, nothing was ever addressed or repaired during our stay.

Overall, this was a bad experience due to the lack of response to things that could have been repaired quickly and easily to make our stay better.
