Great property, horrible management company
We stayed here in early April with our newborn, choosing it despite the high price to avoid inconvenience. The property itself was excellent—well built, with a strong HVAC system that kept us warm during a snowstorm, and great bathrooms with heated seats and endless hot water.
Unfortunately, the management company (Avari) was extremely slow to respond. The dishwasher & washing machine didn’t work, and since we were indoors the entire time, this was a major issue. It took about 6 hours to get a response, and while someone came to check the dishwasher, it was never fixed. The washing machine wasn’t addressed at all.Cleanliness was also poor—dirty floors, pet hair, and itchy sheets, which made it hard to live with a baby.
Not to forget, it’s been 14 days since the stay, we have not been refunded despite they mentioning they’ve sent it, Airbnb declined. They’re just trying to pass the review window. Absolutely horrible management company.

This is a great spot, especially for families. I had some issues with Vacasa, and their lack of communication. But the house itself was very comfortable and if we weren’t stuck in a horrible snow storm, we would have gone to Homewood (they were also gracious and changed our ticket dates d/t the storm)

My fiancé and I booked this spot for our anniversary! We brought our dog with us since this spot is pet-friendly and we had a great time. We didn't expect to not have cell service outside of the home, nor did we expect to be so secluded from the nearest city. The house is very spacious, great for a group trip. I would love to re-book this home in the summer since it is really close to the lake. Please be aware that the home lacks cooking pots & pans and cooking utensils. We were only able to make simple breakfasts.

We rented this adorable home for our wedding weekend in Tahoe. We had a wonderful experience. The home was so warm and cozy. We loved that we were able to bring our dog Frankie with us. He had a great time cuddling up by the fire with us. We would love to come back and will recommend to our friends and family.

Nicely remodeled, Tahoe cabin nestled in the quaking aspen trees, At the end of a private lane. I would’ve given this home five stars but for a few things. The Tahoe Pines private dock key didn’t work. The couch in front of the fireplace has to be one of the most uncomfortable pieces of furniture I’ve ever sat on.
