If you feel like venturing out a bit more, downtown Truckee is just seven miles north and the blue water of Lake Tahoe is eight miles in the opposite direction. Hyper unorganized in getting people checked in. It was an absolute S#@$ Show. Office staff cut out 50 min before closing, leaving me outside in the cold for almost an hour in a half trying to figure out who could help. I called many people and no one knew their right hand from their left. Thank goodness for the Hyatt in Northstar Village to assist. This was by far the worst experience with any travel company I've ever had. The least they could have done was refunded at least one nights stay. But no, they didn't offer anything . Absolute worst customer service

We had an enjoyable stay. The kithen was well stocked with all the utensils we needed. Nice king size beds. only some minor suggestions. The lounge furniture could do with updates. I wanted a slightly later check out to 11am or so. I thought after stayng 5 nights that they could accommodate this small request, but Vacasa staff did not accommodate this, saying that there are no options to extend checkout for this property. For Check in, look for the 'East West Accommodation' front desk, Vacasa sent check in instructions for 'Mountain Lodging Front Desk', this is incorrect and needs to be updated.

Ignore other comments about unit cleanliness. Owners have responded and the unit was spotless, linens and towels were crisp and clean. Hot tubs worked great. Parking was seamless. Beautiful huge deck overlooking the rink/stage and forest. Everything was great. It's much bigger than it looks in the pictures too (esp. kitchen area). Splurge and get this place and you won't be disappointed!
