For the skiers in the group, you are just six miles from exclusive resorts such as Homewood and eight miles to Squaw Valley or Alpine Meadows for skiing and snowboarding. Frankly, we barely used the place with so much else to do around the lake. But it was really nice to come back to. Quiet. Clean. Nice bed/linens. From the unit, there is a great trail, part of the Tahoe Rim Trail, that goes along the Truckee River right into Tahoe City.
