After days spent hiking nearby trails or rafting along the Truckee River, unwind on the spacious deck that boasts tree-lined views. Stretch out in the hammock with a vacation read or fire up the gas grill and host a cookout at the outdoor dining table. In the winter months, after days on the ski slopes, cozy up in the main living area where vaulted ceilings soar and a gas fireplace sits centerstage. Two additional living areas, each equipped with a smart TV and ample seating, offer more space to kick back and relax. One of the living areas includes a wet bar where you can mix beverages and an arcade game for more indoor fun. Outfitted with stainless steel appliances, the modern kitchen features everything you need to prepare family-style meals. When it's time to eat, gather at the large dining table. During your stay, you'll enjoy access to the community's recreation center which is just a short drive from home. Lounge beside the shared outdoor pool or serve up some competition on the community tennis courts. Easy(ish) access to Northstar with shuttle service but the weekends are like Disneyland there. This was a great home large enough for our group but the WiFi was unusably slow so wasn't helpful to be able to work or stream anything.

We arrived just after some major snowfall and were happy to see a flat driveway. Though not enclosed, it did provide good cover. The home was clean with lots of space. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to prepare meals for each night we stayed. A coffee maker, Nespresso machine (vertuo if I remember correctly), and toaster were present. The dining table was large and accomodated everybody. There was ample room throughout the living spaces to gather for card/board games and our dogs had plenty of space to roam. The bathrooms were similarly well equipped with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Each restroom had a shower. The hot tub was hidden under the deck so no need to dig it out from the snow. The location was perfect for our needs. The door to door shuttle service to Northstar resort made hitting the slopes stress free. The proximity to Kings Beach and Tahoe City was perfect for others in our party. The slope of the front yard and abundant snow provided the perfect space to create three seperate sled runs for stay-at-home fun. There was one sled on sight and we brought our own saucer sleds as well. Raley's grocery store was close and easily accessible. We had some issues with the Starlink Wifi and Vacasa was very helpful, even during the holiday. Ultimately, the weather probably affected the wifi the most which was beyond anybody's control. Overall we had a wonderful time at this location.
