Your getaway is located steps from acres of forestland. Enjoy easy access to some of the best hiking and mountain biking trails in the area, as well as snowshoeing in the winter months. Two area ski resorts -- Heavenly and Sierra at Tahoe - are 10-15 minutes away. You're also within close proximity to golfing. LIVING AREA Cathedral ceilings soar in the Great Room, where a gas fireplace sits center stage. Watch favorite shows on the smart TV while relaxing on comfy furniture. The game lounge features a pool table that converts to a Ping-Pong table, smart TV, and plenty of seating. A granite wet bar and mini-fridge make it easy to fix refreshing drinks. Smart TVs with streaming capabilities, board games, a Pack 'n Play, beach chairs, and toys are provided. KITCHEN & DINING The sleek kitchen has a full suite of stainless steel appliances, including a gas range and roomy French-door fridge. Four can perch at a breakfast bar lit with pendant lights. THINGS TO KNOW This two-story home is accessed via one flight of stairs at the entryway. Tahoe is home to many animals. You may experience bears, raccoons, mice, and other animals. Meadows are home to many rodents. When these areas are filled with water or snow, these animals move to homes in the area. You may experience these animals in or near your home. This vacation rental does not have air-conditioning.

We had a great time at the house. Unfortunately for us, we had record snow storms the day before we left. So the driveway needed plowing before we could leave. We sent the request to Vacasa the night before and followed up the morning of. No one came to help even though they said they had a local company that would do that for us. We finally did it ourselves as we didn't want to miss our window to leave. We had a good 2 feet of snow in the driveway! It was back breaking! Hopefully Vacasa can figure this out before the next storm.

This place was perfect for our new years ski trip. We had no issues whatsoever and found the cabin had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this cabin. Location is super close to Southlake and all the happenings there. We love the time we spent there and would definitely come back.
