Nestled in a tranquil forested setting, the home combines peaceful seclusion with convenient proximity to dining, shopping, and entertainment. Spend winter days skiing at Heavenly, Sierra-at-Tahoe, or Kirkwood. In the warmer months, lounge lakeside at El Dorado Beach (less than eight miles away) or tee off at Lake Tahoe and Tahoe Paradise Golf Courses—both within a mile and a half. Start your mornings with coffee on the front deck, taking in the crisp mountain air and serene forest views. We really liked our stay here—the only thing missing was some basic stuff they can easily fix. 1) they need a quick guide to how to work the systems at the house. It's annoying to have to call Vacasa to get the unlock code to open the Hot Tub. 2) they need a few more amenities in the kitchen (aka mixing bowls). But other than that, place was great. Quiet and a nice location to get to Sierra.
