City of South Lake Tahoe Short Term Rental Ordinances Violation of ordinances can result in fines up to $1500: a. The maximum occupancy of this property at all times, 24 hours a day, is 4 persons. Up to 2 children aged 13 and under do not count towards this occupancy limit. b. Weddings, receptions, and commercial events are prohibited. c. No use of outdoor spas or hot tubs is allowed after 10pm or before 8am. d. No outdoor amplified music, speakers, or other noise-generating equipment is allowed after 10pm or before 8am. e. Parking is prohibited on unpaved surfaces or on neighboring private property without permission. Parking is allowed only on paved surfaces. f. Parking of commercial vehicles on the property is prohibited, except temporarily for durations of less than 4 hours. g. Camping and sleeping in tents, travel trailers, campers, or recreational vehicles is prohibited at the property. h. Trash and recycling shall not be left or stored outside except in a container (trash can) within a bear box or in an animal-resistant cart provided for use by South Tahoe Refuse.

Nice location and home, with some minor inconveniences. Namely the WiFi is extremely slow. 2 mbps down. Hosts claim this is due to mountain location but I’ve never encountered this issue anywhere else in South Lake Tahoe. Do not book this place if you plan to work remote. Make sure to bring your own laundry detergent and coffee (there is a coffee machine), as neither is provided by host.

Nice homey place to stay in Tahoe. Lots of knick knacks, quirky house. Some of the lamps didn't work, and had a problem with fireplace beeping. Management responded within the three hours when we asked questions, but would have been nice to have quicker responses. Was going to BBQ but the grill was pretty dirty and we didn't want to clean it before using it. But otherwise a central location to get around South Lake Tahoe and worth what we paid for.

Really cute home, quiet neighborhood and close enough to stores. The home had everything you would need to cook, etc and many blankets. Cons: the BBQ grill was taken apart and the gas was open, smelling like gas outside. The stove did not turn on and we had to buy lighters to use the stove. The garage was not accessible, its being used for storage. We were called and told that the bathroom sink was clogged and they were waiting for a plumber to come out, never was contacted again and the toilets started to clog on our last day.
