Overview

Enjoy unbeatable access to college sports and international track and field events at this four-bedroom Eugene home, a welcoming family retreat with central air conditioning, a yard, and a wonderful location within walking distance of beautiful parks and the University of Oregon.

This cheerful yellow home sits one mile southeast of downtown Eugene, just half a block south of the Sunday summer concerts in Washburne Park. Take morning walks through the world-famous rhododendron garden at Hendricks Park half a mile east, grab a seat to watch the USA Track & Field Championships or the Olympic trials at Hayward Field half a mile north, and root on the Oregon Ducks football team each fall at Autzen Stadium two miles north.

Built in 1935, this home is casual, comfortable, and an ideal retreat for a family of Oregon alumni. Spend your mornings hiking part of the 12-mile Ridgeline Trail in Hendricks Park, and return home to whip up pancakes in the full kitchen (with a dishwasher), grab a change of clothes from the washer/dryer, and use the free WiFi to read the sports section outside on the deck and patio. After a day spent in the stands at Hayward Field, you can barbecue with friends on the gas grill in the garden, and enjoy the home's very flexible sleeping arrangements (the two twin beds are trundles - one is beneath a traditional full-size bed, and the other is beneath the twin-size daybed).

There's always fun to be had in the charming neighborhoods of Eugene - begin planning your next trip to the Willamette Valley today!

April 2026

We would not stay here again due to the lack of flexibility of the rental agency and the early checkout. The house was very nice, but the management team was not at all accommodating. I did make the mistake of not realizing the early checkout when making the reservation and by the time I realized, it was too late to cancel. We were in town for a running event and wanted to check out at 11 so we'd have time to shower and get our car out of the driveway. They would not allow us to check out late or leave our car in the driveway, as they said the cleaners needed the space. We were in the area at 11 and it was clear that the cleaning people had not been there yet. We paid $1200 for two nights. We were not given the code to get in until 3pm on the first night and had to check out by 10 on the last morning. It was a very nice place with everything we needed, but the stress of not knowing where we could park and not having a shower wasn't worth it.

We had a great stay! Great location to watch Oregon Duck football games! Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and organized.

We needed a place close to the Airport in Eugene, to launch our 6 Day Golf trip. We stayed 2 nights and then headed to Bandon. The 2 days we stayed we were able to play some local golf courses, and experience local food and culture. We had a great time, and enjoyed the house.

This was the perfect spot to launch our Duck into his senior year at University of Oregon.

The neighborhood is one of my favorites in Eugene. I love that we could walk to dinner and ice cream on 19th.

The home is very comfortable and had plenty of space for all of us to spread out.
