Overview

This Sunriver home has a reverse-living floor plan with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The home has a stunning view of Mt. Bachelor, a private hot tub, and eight SHARC passes. Near Fort Rock Park and the Village at Sunriver, it's easy to get around. There are 40 miles of paved trails in the area, so it's convenient to travel by bike. Settle in next to the large fireplace for a movie night, post vacation shots over the WiFi, or play board games around the dining table. Take a soak in your private hot tub, or relax inside in the cool air conditioning. Prepare a delicious meal in the full kitchen, which has a coffee maker and dishwasher. Outside on the deck is a grill for barbecues. There are two master suites, one with a king upstairs, and the other with a queen downstairs. There is a bunk bed for the kids in the third bedroom downstairs, and a queen sofabed makes room for a total of eight guests. Each bedroom has a TV, and there's a washer and dryer. Go skiing or snowboarding at nearby Mt. Bachelor, or go swimming and then play a game of basketball at SHARC. Go fly fishing in the Deschutes and see if you can catch something for dinner! We had a wonderful stay at Lava Butte Lane 03. The home was well stocked, and Vacasa was helpful with questions. We enjoyed the SHARC passes too! We'd definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Wonderful house, nice big comfy beds, and fun bunk beds for kids that is away from the main suite. Very clean and has everything you need for your vacation. My phone ran extremely slow on their WiFi, but I wasn’t there to scroll on my phone so not a big deal. However someone going there that may want to work should keep that in mind. The house was right down the road from the park and tennis courts and that was wonderful, but the shops were almost a 40 minute walk so we drove mostly. We wish we had bikes but we had a small infant with us. We have a toddler and the stairs were a little scary so if you have a little toddlers running around, keep that in mind that there are lots of stairs.

Property is decent - great space and location. It has lots of potential. Unfortunately, there were some issues during our stay. *Sign for dishwasher said not to use powder. The only dishwasher soap Vacasa provided was powder. The liquid provided said not to use in dishwasher. *Patio was filthy. This was worse then just normal dirt that accumulates on a patio. It clearly had not been touched - entire patio and all furniture had a thick layer of pollen and yard debris. I had to clean the areas we wanted to use myself. *Wifi connection is poor. *Inside wasn't as clean as it should have been. Visible clumps of dust hanging from the ceiling; floors had hair/crumbs upon arrival. *No instructions given for fireplace (e.g., where to dispose of ashes). *Conflicting check-out instructions. Binder in home said not to strip the beds; email from Vacasa said to strip the beds. Vacasa owns a lot of properties - no excuse to not have these instructions be clear to guests at the property they're paying for. *Way, way too many utensils and dishes ... but the pantry was practically empty (e.g., not even cooking oil provided). *All bikes had minor disrepair. At least one tire was flat on each bike - and the air pump provided was partially broken. *Window screens had holes, allowing bugs in the house. *Patio doors very sticky - hard to open/close. *I received a text from Vacasa at 1:07pm that our home was "clean and ready," eligible for early check-in. Check-in was formally at 4pm, and we got there about 4:30pm. People who check the hot tub levels arrived at 5pm. Not only did they come after regular check-in time, but Vacasa told us the property was ready three hours earlier --- clearly it wasn't.
