Overall my stay was great.

Beachfront accessible. Friendly staff.

Housekeeping stopped a guest and told them to leave a tip before they left.

Avari response:

We’re so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us, Rebecca! It’s wonderful that you appreciated the beachfront access and found our staff to be friendly. We strive to create a welcoming atmosphere for all our guests.

We do take your feedback about the housekeeping interaction seriously. While we encourage tipping as a way to show appreciation for service, it should always feel comfortable and never pressured. We’ll be sure to address this with our team to ensure that every guest feels at ease during their stay.

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we hope to welcome you back for another great getaway in Destin!

Great view of the water. Make sure to go inside to get your door code at check in from the front desk. If you want a front row umbrella and chair rental at the beach, call ahead they book up fast.

Avari response:

Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the great view of the water—it's one of the highlights of staying with us. We appreciate your tip about checking in at the front desk for the door code; it’s always good to have that reminder for future guests.

We also understand how important it is to secure those front row umbrella and chair rentals, and we’re glad you mentioned it. We want every aspect of your stay to be as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

We hope to welcome you back soon for another relaxing getaway!

Beautiful views. Host provided minimal home necessities which were the perfect amount for our 5 day trip. Pros: The VIEW. Perfect beach panorama from the room. AC worked very well and kept us cool. We enjoyed the setup and had enough room for cooking and eating meals. Cons: bed frame was broken and squeaky, iron had exposed cords, bathroom closet door was broken, ice maker didn’t work, oven stickers were gone so it took a minute to figure out which knob controlled which eye. Lastly, the AC units blow heat exhaust out right at the door. Due to the location of the room, this heat holds in and makes it difficult to breathe while entering the code to get in. A temporary inconvenience but in the heat of Summer- this could be brutal.

Avari response:

Thank you, Ashley, for sharing your experience with us. We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful views and found the space comfortable for your meals and relaxation. It’s wonderful to know that the AC kept you cool during your stay.

We genuinely appreciate your feedback regarding the issues you encountered. We understand how frustrating it can be to deal with a broken bed frame, an iron with exposed cords, and the other concerns you mentioned. That shouldn’t have happened, and we’re committed to addressing these matters to ensure a better experience for future guests.

Your note about the heat from the AC units is particularly helpful, and we’ll look into ways to improve that entry experience. We want every aspect of your stay to be as comfortable as possible, especially during the summer months.

We hope you’ll consider staying with us again, as we’d love the opportunity to provide you with an even better experience next time. Thank you for being a part of our journey at Avari.
