With a queen-size bed in the Gulf-side master bedroom, along with a queen-size murphy bed in the living area, unit 1120 accommodates up to four guests comfortably – ideal for a family beach vacation, a spontaneous trip with friends and every occasion between. Upon entering, you will find the stackable washer and dryer combination immediately on your right and the fully-equipped kitchen on your left, including all the appliances and utensils to create your own meals while on vacation. The kitchen leads directly to the living area, featuring a queen-size murphy bed along with a television and DVD player combination. Step through the sliding glass door onto the spacious Gulf-facing deck, just steps from the white sandy beach and crystal-clear waters of the Gulf coast. Down the hall from the living area, you will find the bathroom on your left, boasting a double vanity and tub/shower combination. Adjacent to the bathroom is a spare closet, providing plenty of room for all your belongings. There is also a vanity with space for a seat at the end of the hall, ideal for getting work done if needed. To the right of the vanity is the entrance to the Gulf-side master bedroom. Enjoy your own private oasis with welcoming décor, gorgeous views, a king-size bed as well as a flat-screen television. This place was perfect for beach access, I loved how it was a very short walk to the beach. However I was a little disappointed when I found out there were no beach towels, or any beach gear as stated in the add/description, there also was no extra bed linen as expected other than a comforter. Although sandpiper cove provides chairs and a beach umbrella, they had none set up on the second day we were there because there was beach construction happening, so beach chairs or towels would have been nice to actually have as a alternative.

The toilet didn’t work when we arrived. 1 bathroom for 3 of us. The bedroom sink was clogged. We only got 1 trash bag for 4 nights and had to carry out the rest in small bags. The broom was broken. Everything was fixed and they delivered a broom the last night we were there. Also the washer and dryer were incredibly small and the lint trap was damaged.

We stayed at this Destin condo and had a mix of positives and frustrations. The property is very family-friendly, with plenty of pickleball and tennis courts and a great 9-hole golf course for beginners. The condo is a short walk to the beach, and the chair service there was fantastic and very convenient.

However, check-in was a major issue. Our code didn’t work at 4 PM as listed, and we spent an hour trying to reach management with no answer. We had to wait on the porch with our young children until 5 PM when the code finally worked. Which was frustrating/stressful after a long day of travel.

Inside, there were additional concerns: no shampoo (only conditioner and bar soap), a large cockroach in a kitchen utensil drawer, and broken ceiling tiles in the kitchen. Also, the pool and hot tub were under construction our entire stay, despite being advertised, which significantly impacted the value of the rental.

Overall, great location but several issues impacted our experience.

Everything was great it was walking distance from the beach. They had plenty of towels and blankets . They had everything for the kitchen pans, plates, cups, utensils, knifes, even a can opener. They left us a little pack that come with 2 pods of detergent. Dish washing soap and a new sponge. I felt very welcome. Is a one bed room but includes a queen bed in the living room. Love the stay here, I will totally recommend it to friends and family.
