The room and property was beautiful. Everything was clean with beautiful views. We had no problems on the rental room itself. But…. The bed needs a mattress topper it’s a very firm bed. Second, to let others know… you will NOT be able to put your own chairs out by the ocean. There was 4 rows of rentals and if you had your own chairs you had to sit in the very back near the property. No matter how early you got up to set up, personal chairs can not sit by water. That was such a disappointment. I paid a lot of money and did not know that rule on this property . Rental chairs were booked all week and was $500 for a week rental ($80ish day). This was our first time to Destin and did not know all the properties did this. Please make others aware of this rule in Destin. We had a great time other than that.

Pretty clean. Easy to find and check in. Very short walk to the beach and several pools. The indoor café has ice which was helpful and very good food. The outside café has great food and drinks and live music some days. There is a waiting service that will serve food and drinks directly on the beach whether you have a rented chair or not. I was slightly worried about the upkeep due to some reviews but everything seemed clean and together to me.

The only thing I would recommend is at least having salt and pepper. Maybe a few other spices. There is a salt and pepper Shaker but they are both empty so dont forget spices if you are cooking. Nothing crazy...stay was amazing with or without and will most likely be back.

Oh...we also took a beach walk to the back porch...super short walk and something different to do while still on the beach.

The location and view were fantastic. One of the elevators was out of service when we were there, so be prepared to wait on them during peak check-in/out times. The room was fine, but a little rough around the edges. Missing trim, slightly sandy floor, runny toilet (I adjusted), all small things. Overall a good place to stay
