Enjoy seafood-centric comfort fare along with a beachfront view, or enjoy a drink at their poolside bar at The Beach House, located just across the street. (If you need a second restaurant reference, let's use something like Emeril's Coastal Italian or Tommy Bahama's at Grand Boulevard.) Spend a day exploring the nearby Village of Baytowne Wharf with its boutiques, eateries, galleries, live music, nightlife, outdoor festivals, and annual events. Kids will appreciate the arcade, carousel, playground, and zipline adventure.

The general location was great. Inside the Sandestin resort with lots to do. Very safe area. It is important to note that this is not 1 full apartment unit. It is 2 separate units that are next to each other…. we did receive access to both units. Both rooms are in the corner of the hallway and private - which was nice. Check in was a bit rocky. There were several issues with the door codes. It took a long time to get someone on the phone but the issue was resolved once we got the help. Staff were friendly and we were a short walk from the beach, pool, and restaurants.

Avoid Avari/Vacasa if you can. The basic part of hosting on Airbnb is providing the access codes needed to get into your unit and the building. Traveler beware: if you do not get 4 codes before check in, you will not be getting in. There is a parking garage code, a foyer code, and two door codes. We only received one code prior to check in and had to wait an hour for Avari/Vacasa to figure out the doors codes. The AC unit in the studio is loud and there are no chairs on the balcony in the other unit. They do not connect internally, there are two exterior doors. Lastly, cleaners showed up at 8:45am walked right into the unit mid breakfast then left their linen there as reminder to hurry up and get out of the unit.

The stay was easy and the condo was lovely. They do need to get some outdoor furniture on the deck so you can sit out and enjoy the lovely view and weather.Luau is a great place to stay and so close to the beach and a wonderful pool.

Great location, easy access to the beach and the outlet mall. The unlock code did not work when we arrived there. Waited for more than an hour before we could get in the room. Other than that, we had a good time.

First off we enjoyed our stay! Great location and very spacious! The condo is a little dated but again it’s very spacious and has all necessities. We drove to a parking lot which was less than a minute away and then walked to the beach. We would stay again.
Now for the cons: They need to make sure all codes are given prior to guest checking in. We spent 20 minutes in the hallway trying to get the code for one of the doors. The AI chatting and contacting a customer service agent delayed the process. If we were able to get in touch with the owners we probably wouldn’t have been standing in the foyer for 20 minutes with groceries and luggage. May also want to consider early check in if the room is cleaned earlier than check in time. This was our first time booking with Vacasa. Normally we book through Air BNB and never had any issues. With Air BNB you can actually contact the owners. With Vacasa you get stuck chatting with AI or a customer service rep. All in all it was a great stay and we would stay again.
