I was looking for a place for my husband and I and son and 2 grandchildren that are teens, that was also dog friendly, and wouldn't break the bank. This place was perfect. I had read reviews before booking about bugs being in the house. I contacted Avari before booking and asked if the issue had been addressed, and was told it had been. We NEVER saw any bugs! This location is very dog friendly! The beach is not crowded like it is around Gulf Shores, and condo complexes. This is an older home and nothing fancy, but the price you pay reflects that. It is clean and comfortable. The only thing it really needs is a patio set on the deck. There is only one outside sitting area and there were only 2 plastic chairs on it. We enjoy sitting outside looking at the gulf, and there weren't enough seats or any tables for drinks. The heat does not bother me, so I spent alot of time out there. All in all it was worth what we paid, and we had no complaints!

Book it!!!

Everything was amazing it might be a dinosaur of a beach house but everything was amazing we didn’t go without Many reviews we made about things that would never matter on a vacation it’s all ment to be spent with family not a well used family home. If you’re looking for a cheap and very accommodating stay please book!!

This is an older house and the beds are pretty uncomfortable BUT you can bring your dogs and it’s a great location! It’s perfectly adequate but not at all fancy. If you’re hoping for luxury accommodations rather than enjoying lots of time outdoors this is not for you.
