Buzzcatz Coffee & Sweets

Made-to-order breakfasts, homemade baked goods, specialty coffees, and indulgent ice cream—the kind of scrumptious neighborhood gem that makes every trip to Orange Beach taste a little sweeter.

Cobalt

Acme Oyster House

Authentic New Orleans seafood meets pure Gulf Coast fun—ice-cold raw oysters, legendary chargrilled favorites, and the epic 'Peace Maker' po'boy. Life really is more fun with seafood.

We had a great overall stay and would definitely consider staying here again. The host was very kind, responsive, and easy to reach whenever we had a question. Check-in and check-out were both simple and hassle-free, and the host was very accommodating when we decided to extend our stay by an extra day.The views were absolutely beautiful, and one of our favorite features was having the pool right at the bottom of the stairs. It made it incredibly convenient for our kids to go back and forth throughout the day. There were a few maintenance and housekeeping issues that I think are worth mentioning. After about three days, the smoke detector battery began beeping continuously and needed to be replaced. There was also a piece of broken glass left on the floor, and unfortunately, our one-year-old stepped on it and got a piece of glass in his foot. In addition, the screen door locked shut unexpectedly, trapping us inside until maintenance came out to repair it.Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay overall. The location, views, pool access, and the excellent communication from the host made for a positive experience. With a little more attention to maintenance and cleaning, this would easily be a five-star stay. We would stay here again.

Avari response:

Thank you, Keith, for sharing your experience with us. We’re thrilled to hear that you had a great overall stay and appreciated our communication and the beautiful views. It’s wonderful to know that the pool access was a hit with your kids, making your time here even more enjoyable.

We genuinely regret the maintenance and housekeeping issues you encountered. That shouldn’t have happened, and we take your feedback seriously. We’re addressing the smoke detector and the screen door to ensure they’re in perfect working order for future guests. We also want to extend our apologies for the broken glass incident; safety is our top priority, and we’re sorry for the distress it caused.

Your insights are invaluable as we strive to provide a consistently comfortable experience. We would love the opportunity to host you again and show you the improvements we’re making. Thank you for considering us for your next stay!

The condo is very nice, in a medium size complex that is quiet and is conveniently located.

The location is not on the beach (we knew this) but is on part of the bay (like on the water). It is close to the overpass over the bay and is close to the Flora-Bama. The unit itself is super nice, well maintained and furnished, with a large, covered porch overlooking the bay and has an ocean view if you look south across the highway. The porch was so nice and enjoyable. The bed was nice and comfortable also, The complex itself was not busy or noisy. We will definitely stay here again.

The keypad on the door did not work too well. It is a 10 digit code and would not accept the code many times so we eventually just left the door unlocked, as the area was nice and quiet and seemed very safe.
