The home was great, the views were Stunning. Our whole experience was great! We had a small issue with the elevator but called and they came righg out and fixed the issue and that was even on Thanksgiving Day. If you are handicap beware that this is not a Hotel elevator but does get the job done. I am a big guy and I had the elevator pretty full and still was able to carry everything up and down. Vacasa was easy to use and they gave us plenty of information along the way. Thank you so much!

The title does say it all… it is indeed “Whatever She Wants” because this lovely beach home paradise truly does provide whatever she wants and what anyone could want for a lovely, relaxing, beautiful beach getaway! Directly on the beach, this lovely, immaculately clean home provides all the comforts of home with everything you could need to enjoy your time together! There is thoughtful beach toys left for guests in a neat container! The beds and furniture are so comfortable and the balcony is wonderfully furnished and shaded to enjoy your meals, coffee, cocktails beachside with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets!

While "Whatever She Wants" is perfectly located off a Gulf Coast beach, the price for this rental in this secluded community left much to be desired. We not only paid a premium for our stay, the final price was actually double to what the website quoted due to countless hidden fees, taxes and surcharges. This left us to believe that we might be signing up for a quality luxury experience. But it wasn't. The elevator broke on day one. Although service was great, the elevator was still unusable until our last day there. During our stay, we were visited by palmetto bugs/cockroaches inside the home. Not what we expected. The house has everything you'd expect in a modern home, but it failed to elevate itself to something special that its price category might cause you to believe you're getting. To our dismay, there wasn't anything special about this house. It was functional and adequate... like a room at the Ramada. Like the house, the beach community was equally disappointing. Many establishments we wanted to visit were closed and those that were open charged you as if you were visiting a large airport... which I could understand if this were a real island like Hawaii, but it's connected to Alabama by a bridge making less of an island and more of a peninsula. While I hate to equate a rental's value based on how much they charge, you can't help but make this comparison. If you have to stay on Dauphin Island, then this house may be perfectly suitable for you and your family. But if you were to take your dollars and compare what you could get in other beach communities, you'd probably find that there are better values elsewhere. Ultimately, the service and location were terrific. The view of the beach was really nice. The app made checking in and out easy. But overall, the house was as bland as the hundreds of other beach rentals that lined Bienville Blvd. It felt as if Disney bought up the island and built identical cookie-cutter beach houses along the surf to emulate a beach community. We booked this home in October for an extended weekend getaway. And while we enjoyed the beach, surf and salty air; there was nothing about this stay that would make us eager to rebook any time soon.
