The house was located right by the beach. Even though there was one house in front of it, we were able to sit on the deck and watch the waves. We loved that the deck was fenced in so that our dog was able to be out there with us without having to be on a leash. Also, the fact that dog were allowed on the beach was awesome. The house was perfect for us. We had plenty of room! Dauphin Island was just what we needed - quiet, relaxing and beautiful. We will be back!

This is a very nice house with somewhat easy access to the beach with just a small section of sand dunes to cross. It was very clean with plenty of space for our group of 5. I gave 4 stars for the loose deck boards mentioned in other reviews. There was no grease trap on the grill which wasn't ideal. The very nice coffee pot didn't work, but there was a single brew backup coffee maker. I would definitely stay here again; we totally enjoyed our time at Beach Haven.

This place was perfect for our family beach trip. The beach access was even closer than we thought it would be! The gas grill made making dinner incredibly easy.
