Nestled towards the top of the Ridgewood Highlands, this house is centrally located to many activities and attractions in the North Lake Tahoe area. Legendary resorts like Northstar (13 miles away) and Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows (12.5 miles away) are just a few of the resorts located in the North Lake Tahoe area. On a summer day, you will be only a few minutes from beautiful, lakeside beaches. You may choose to grab a latte and breakfast at the charming Old Post Office Coffee Shop or a hearty meal at Gar Woods Grill and Pier. For a night out, explore the restaurants in Tahoe City (five miles) or travel seven miles north to Crystal Bay in Nevada for cocktails and games of chance.

Great:
1. Very easy to get to this gorgous house.
2. Love the kitchen with full amenities; however, it could have used to newer/cleaner utensils
3. Also, it would be great to stock up some cooking oil/butter (not a big deal since Safeway is super nearby)
4. Great walkin shower and bathtub
5. Full set of games, also gameroom at the basement (which I didn't really use) but my kids love it with pool table and music
6. Great lighting placing throughout the house.


Not so great:
1. There are few stain on the floor/carpet (carpet also is old) but no biggie
2. Some of the blanket/pillows are not really cleaned
3. Maybe my own shower is very strong so I expect the water to be a bit stronger

Overall, highly recommend this place since its unique design, flexible, clear instructions, very near to Lake Tahoe (west side). Very peaceful, secluded from main road.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was as described. It was clean just dirty around all the light switches and walls. To have some coffee or tea available would be a nice touch. A barbeque would be nice too.

House was great overall -- we loved the layout and there was plenty of space to spread out. The location is outstanding -- lovely neighborhood, high up the hill above the highway and backs up to forest land with tons of trails leading to to Dollar, Burton, TRT. The house was mostly very clean in the most used areas, but could use a deeper clean in farther to reach places. On the whole, we were very comfortable.
