Carnelian Woods #22 is a perfect reprieve from your busy life. This light filled home is decorated in the clean Danish style with all new furnishing from Scandinavian design. The main level of the home features an open plan great room with high cathedral ceilings, a wood burning fireplace, flat screen TV with Chromecast (no cable service), nice Danish trestle table that seats 6 and three more seats at the breakfast bar. The nicely done kitchen with stainless steel appliances and all the basics you’ll need.

In Carnelian Bay you will find limitless activities to enjoy year-round. This complex backs up to Tahoe National Forest, which offers numerous biking and hiking trails as well as cross-country skiing. Head to the Recreation Center/Lodge right on site to enjoy the shared pool, hot tub, tennis courts, and even a game room. Just a short drive away you can find gambling and nightlife at Incline Village and Nevada's famous Crystal Bay. For the skiers in the group, Northstar Ski Resort, Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley are only 10-12 miles away.

Great hosts! I would stay again. They could stock things like paper towels and trash bags a bit more sufficiently. One burner in the kitchen was broken and another’s knob was broken so we were down 2 burners cooking for a family of 5. Others than that, a bit of cleanliness issues (cobwebs and dust, trash/ candy left under the couches from previous stay). Nothing we couldn’t manage, but just enough to not give a full 5 stars.

I will say the host was responsive and the amenities in this community were nice enough. Walking distance to the lake. Quiet area. Good parking.

This was a great location and perfect for our family. However there were issues with the sink backing up. Contacted the management company who responded they would follow up and never did.

Other than that, the place was spacious and clean.

Lovely rental. Was easy to book and host very quick to reply with any questions. Spacious and clean Full kitchen. Very pet friendly. 10min walk to beach and mini golf. Restaurants nearby. Thank you. 10/10.

Great base for our multigenerational weekend.

Comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Lots of room to spread out. Nicely furnished. Great location.

It’s very open and sound travels throughout the unit. The only private space is the master bedroom.
