THINGS TO KNOW - BEAR COUNTRY: Black Bears are frequently encountered near our cabin and are fun to watch as they walk by or occasionally play in the meadow behind our unit. If you see a bear DO NOT APPROACH THEM. Move away cautiously, Mother bears with their cubs are the most dangerous so stay away from their cubs. - BE BEAR AWARE: Look out for them before you exit the cabin. They reside in the woods beyond the meadow. Do not leave food in your vehicle. Pick up all food eaten outdoors and on the deck. Do not leave food in plain site in the cabin when you are not around or sleeping. Do not leave coolers of any type in plain site of the windows of the cabin (recommend the laundry room or kitchen). At night or when away, close the curtains on the windows facing the meadow so bears can’t peek in to see items in the cabin. Always close the front and rear doors to the cabin to keep all wildlife out (Bears walk through open doors all the time). - Outdoor wood-burning fires and charcoal grills are prohibited per local ordinances. - Guests staying at a South Lake Tahoe rental must adhere to all City Ordinances. In addition to noise, trash disposal, and parking rules, maximum occupancy cannot be exceeded under any circumstance. Fines of up to $2000 will be imposed by The City of South Lake Tahoe, without warning, for any violations.

Beautiful 3 bedroom cabin in South Lake! Very close to Heavenly ski resort and all the downtown cafes and restaurants. Host was very responsive and immediately sent a local technician to fix issues with the WiFi. Highly recommend this place!

Great location with easy access to Heavenly Mountain Resort and Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort, situated in a very quiet community. The listing mentioned “walking distance to the lake,” but in reality it’s closer to about an hour on foot or just 5–10 minutes by car. There was some confusion regarding amenities—the listing didn’t mention a hot tub or pool, but the house rules did reference them. The three bedrooms were spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and both bathrooms had plenty of shampoo and towels provided. The back deck was a great feature—private and perfect for relaxing after a day of skiing. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, mainly because of its excellent proximity to the ski resorts. bedrooms and two baths were equiped with plenty of towels and p, shampoo, and body wash.
